Free Crochet Pattern- Queen Anne Lace Headband

I modified this pattern from a scarf pattern I have, i made it have less bumps and obviously a lost smaller.

Queen Anne's Lace Headband

Materials:
Crochet Thread (I used size 10. I think.)
Crochet hook- 1.5 mm

Stitches:
Ch- chain
Sc- Singel Crochet
Dc- double crochet

Pattern
1: Chain 3,work 13 dc into ring. DO NOT JOIN! Chain 1,turn. Work a sc into next 2 dc. *Ch 4,sc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * five more times (6 loops). Ch 6,turn.

2: Slip stitch into the 1st free ch4 loop. Ch 3,turn. Work 13 dc into the ch6 loop. Slip stitch into the the 1st sc of the 1st motif,ch 1,turn. Sc in next 2 dc. *Ch 4,sc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * five more times (6 loops). Ch 6,turn.

3: Slip stitch in 1st free ch4 loop of adjoining motif, ch 3,turn. Work 13 dc into ch6 loop. Slip stitch in next free ch4 loop of adjoining motif, chain 1,turn. Sc in next 2 dc. *Ch 4,sc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * five more times (6 loops). Slip stitch into next free ch4 loop of adjoining motif. Ch 6,turn.

4: Repeat step 3 until headband is desired length, mine is about 22 in. You can just try it against your head as you near the end. You are going to want to lay down the headband and make sure the ends interlock. You don't want them both to be on the same side, your the join would look weird.

5: When you reach the end of stpe 3 for the last time, sl st into the loops for the beginning motif. you should do this twice, once to connect to the first motif, and once to connect them both to the 2nd to last motif.
